27-year-old got 'angry' after earlier court appearance
A Laxey man who smashed a shop window after a court appearance earlier in the day will be sentenced next month.
Daniel Luke Maguire, of Glen Road, was drunk when he caused £500 of damage at Homeco in Douglas on 19 January.
The 27-year-old was walking past the Bucks Road shop, just after 11pm, when he lashed out after getting ‘angry’.
At Douglas Courthouse he admitted causing the criminal damage – the court heard that Maguire was reported by a bus driver who’d noticed that his knuckles were cut.
A social enquiry report has been requested before Maguire is sentenced on 14 March – he’s been bailed until that date.
