Written submissions invited
Tynwald's Social Affairs Committee will conduct a 'thorough' investigation into historic cases of child abuse at the former Knottfield Children's Home.
That's according to chairman of the committee, MLC David Cretney.
He says the body will approach the issue with sensitivity and empathy, whilst taking into account previous police investigations and reports into the matter.
The committee is now inviting written submissions from the public, none of which will be published without consent - the deadline for these is midday on August 30.
