It’s only the second time the showcase event has been called off because of weather – the last time was in 2007.
Poor conditions – particularly mist on the mountain and drizzle – has affected racing all day.
Earlier, the combined Supertwin and Lightweight race had to be re-run and cut to two laps after a first attempt was red flagged when the leaders were on the second lap.
