A Manx born officer has achieved the rank of governor at the Island's prison, for the first time.
Paul Skillicorn has been appointed one of two new deputy governors, along with Colin Ring, and both will share duties with Trevor Hussey.
Prison governor Alison Gomme has named Michelle Mitchell as her head of business operations, completing the line-up of her senior management team.
Mr Skillicorn has responsibility for residential services, Mr Ring for operations, security and compliance, and Mr Hussey for regimes and resettlement.
Mrs Gomme says completing the line-up will enable the team to push forward, giving those involved clear lines of responsibility and accountability, particularly in terms of investment in, and development of, staff.
