Paul Dougherty retires from role
The man responsible for the security of one of the Island's most important buildings, is stepping down from his post after a decade.
Seneschal of Tynwald Paul Dougherty has been responsible for the security and needs of politicians, members of the public and the building itself.
He's also performed ceremonial duties on Tynwald day, given public tours and taken the majority of Tynwald-related photographs.
Over his ten years in the role, Paul has met famous names from all walks of life and been behind-the-scenes at some iconic venues.
However, he says some of his most memorable moments are rooted in people and occasions closer to home.
