See Me and Orson Welles on the silver screen

There's a last chance to see Isle of Man-made film Me and Orson Welles on the silver screen this week.

The last in a series of matinees will be shown at the Broadway Cinema in Douglas from Monday to Friday.

Six hundred extras, all in full make up and period costume, played the audience during filming at the Gaiety Theatre back in 2008.

The matinees are a last chance to see the feature film in a cinema here, whether you were an extra or not.

Me and Orson Welles tells the story of teenage student Richard Samuels played by Zac Efron, who wins a minor role in a production of Julius Caesar directed by a young Orson Welles. For that role, Christian MacKay won a BAFTA nomination.

The screenings are at 2.30pm Mon-Fri, except Wednesday when it's an 11am start.
