Colby Glen Road and Ballachrink Road also closing for felling of unsafe trees
A section of the TT course will close today as the cleanup operation continues following Storm Darragh.
The A3 is currently closed between Ballig Bridge and Cronk-y-Voddy Crossroads until midday, and will shut from Ballacraine to Ballig Bridge between 12pm and 2pm.
The Department of Infrastructure says it's to allow debris to be cleared.
Emergency access will be maintained throughout the closure.
There will also be a closure on the Colby Glen Road between 10am and 3.30pm and the Ballachrink Road in East Baldwin until 4pm to facilitate the felling of unsafe trees following last weekend's conditions.
