Tree works to close road for several hours
A section of a busy route in Douglas is to shut for several hours this weekend.
Quarterbridge Road - and its junction with Devonshire Road - will be closed to traffic between 8am and 5pm on Sunday (27 September).
It's for tree works.
An alternative route is available via Peel Road, Braddan Road, Ballafletcher Road, Johnny Watterson’s Lane, Ballanard Road and Bray Hill.
In the event of bad weather, or any other circumstances that render the date unusable, a contingency closure will be used on Sunday, 4 October instead.
