Second Sea-to-Summit fell race
A fell race is taking place this weekend to remember the life of a cyclist who was killed in a road accident two years ago.
It will be the second time participants have taken part in the Sea to Summit race in memory of Kate Burge - who was a keen runner.
The event sees competitors go from Laxey to the top of Snaefell.
Entries will be accepted on the day - registration is at Laxey Sailing Club from 10am with the race starting at 11am.
Kate's partner Sean McLachlan is encouraging as many as possible to get involved in what he says is a thoroughly enjoyable day:
