Divers in the Isle of Man have been learning how to become amateur marine biologists.
The Seasearch programme was developed in the United Kingdom for recreational divers and is used throughout the British Isles.
A third Seasearch course was recently held on the Island, organised by co-ordinator Tony Glen and DAFF Wildlife and Conservation Officers.
Seasearch involves training divers in the basics of marine biology and how to recognise common underwater plants and animals.
