
Visitors to the weekend carnival in Peel must have thought they were seeing double, after a huge sand sculpture of the castle was opened on the beach.
The sculpture was the work of Paul Hoggard and Remy Geerts, and saw Peel Castle recreated in sight of the real thing.
Visitors queued to see the scale model which was sponsored by the Isle of Man Arts Council.
