
South Douglas MHK David Cretney is welcoming an investigation into MHK’s expenses.
A joint committee of Tynwald will look into the system where MHKs can claim travelling expenses for journeys to and from their offices.
Mr Cretney (pictured) believes it's time the system was scrapped because members of the Keys already earn enough money.
He says there are some significant flaws to the way it’s administered:
