The chief minister’s revealed the search for budget savings across all departments in a slimmed-down government is well under way.
A package of restructuring reforms is also due to go to Tynwald next week.
But Allan Bell says that doesn’t mean the scope work – which includes examining possible corporatisation, centralising services and assessing alternative structures – has been put on the backburner:
