The latest report into the scope of government, its responsibilities and powers - and whether some of these could be placed outside mainstream government - is now in the hands of the Chief Minister.
A previous report, six years ago, examined both the structure and scope of government, the former of which was addressed in March 2010.
One of the first moves of Allan Bell's administration was to re-appoint the committee, under chairman Robert Quayle, to examine the scope.
Their findings are now in the hands of the Chief Minister.
