
Changes to the way many public services are run are proposed in a long-awaited independent report, published by government today (Tuesday).
It has made public a committee's list of recommendations into how government services could be slimmed down or devolved to make them more 'efficient and effective'.
Amongst the areas the 'scope'committee, chaired by Robert Quayle, examined are the bus services, the airport and harbours, the Villa Marina and the National Sports Centre.
