Head teacher blames high rates of staff absence
Some students at St Ninian’s High School are being asked to stay at home tomorrow (15 July).
The school says it’s due to higher rates of staff absence than it would normally expect at this time of year.
Year 9 pupils are being told to study remotely using Google Classrooms.
In a statement to parents and carers the head teacher said: “Please be assured that this decision has not been taken lightly and we have tried to do everything to avoid this scenario happening again but we have no alternative.”
Year 8 pupils at Ballakermeen High School were asked to stay at home today.
