Two Manx schoolgirls are over the moon after winning a scholarship for NASA's space school in Houston, Texas this summer.
Alison Hinds of Castle Rushen High School and Ashleigh McMaster, from St Ninian's, will be attending the course after winning a competition organised by the Department of Education in association with Manx space company ManSat.
The girls will be working on projects with 28 other young people from around the world at NASA's Johnson Space Centre, where they will also get to meet NASA astronauts.
