School offering later start due to Euro 2020 final

England face Italy at Wembley tonight

Pupils at a school in Onchan are being offered a lie-in tomorrow – to combat the morning after the Euro 2020 final. 

Onchan Primary School, is opening as normal at 8.40am, but will not mark children absent until after 10.30am.

England will take on Italy at Wembley tonight – it's the first time England has reached the final in a major tournament in 55 years.

The school is encouraging families to enjoy their Sunday evening without the worry of 'grumpy children' first thing.
