
Education Minister Eddie Teare says his department is trying to save cash when it lets out school facilities to groups.
Some have criticised the high price of renting a school building for community groups to meet in, but Mr Teare says many are let at a loss.
He says it’s one issue civil servants in the department have been looking into.
And he claims it’s thrown up one or two surprises.
