Schools improvement advisor says more variety is available
The school curriculum on the Isle of Man has been 'broadened' this year, according to the schools improvement advisor.
Thousands of young people have been back in today following a six-week break for summer.
Core subjects like maths and science remain of key importance, with vocational subjects like creative arts also available for students to take up.
