
Treasury Minister Allan Bell says a new school at Bemahague in Onchan, which will open in 2012, will be good for more than just education.
He says if Tynwald approves the project by July next year, it will be a huge boost for the Island’s slowing construction industry.
Education Department figures say the project will cost £32.8million and Mr Bell says much of that will be spent on labour-intensive building work.
