Police are warning of scammers contacting Manx residents to demand money.
Ramsey Police Station has received reports of callers with male and female voices asking for an immediate payment of £600 due to a problem with a Visa transaction.
Officers are urging anyone who receives such a call not to follow the instructions or give away any information.
