Police urge Manx residents to hang up such calls
Scammers have been contacting Manx residents claiming to be from Lloyds Bank.
The Isle of Man Constabulary's Economic Crime Unit has received reports of callers asking for personal information including bank account details, after claiming the victim needs to authorise a debit card transaction.
Officers are urging anyone who receives such a call not to give out any personal details and hang up the phone instead.
Such scam calls can be reported to your nearest police station.
