Scallops landed this season are reported to be of high quality
With just a few days of the 2025/26 Scallop fishing season remaining, around 80 percent of the total allowable catch has been landed.
An estimated 550 tons is still available with the season due to close on 31 May.
The daily catch limit of 850 kilograms per vessel equates to around 26 to 30 bags.
