Protest comes as House of Keys meets
Those protesting against plans to axe 25 elm trees on the Braaid Road in St Marks will hold a demonstration outside the Tynwald buildings tomorrow (29 June).
It's due to start at 9:30am to coincide with the sitting of the House of Keys which begins at 10am.
Douglas South MHK Paul Quine will ask the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot to make a statement about plans to fell the woodland.
The protest follows a similar one held in St Marks yesterday where around 250 people turned out to show their support for the cause.
