More than £6 million of savings identified
A Public Defender Scheme and the consolidation of higher education services are two of the projects being progressed as part of government's SAVE initiative.
The Securing Added Value and Efficiencies Programme aims to make savings of £15 million by 2022-23.
More than £6 million worth of potential savings have been identified in a progress report, which will be debated by Tynwald members this month.
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan says the programme will work in conjunction with budgetary controls and a focus on economic growth:
