Charity hopes to remind people it's there to help 24/7
Samaritans Awareness Day is being marked today (Thursday 24 July) on the Isle of Man.
Each year, it uses the 24th day of the seventh month to remind people its volunteers are there 24/7.
Across the UK, Samaritans responds to a call for help from someone finding life tough every ten seconds.
Co-director of the Isle of Man branch, Aimee Grainger, says the service isn't just for people at crisis point:
If you ever need help, you can call Samaritans on 116 123 any time, or email jo@samaritans.org.
