Samantha Barks will be bidding for more success, and hoping for even more local support, in the BBC talent show 'I'd Do Anything' on Saturday evening.
The 17 year-old from Laxey has impressed judges and is through to the final eight, as Lord Lloyd-Webber and his team search for a star to play Nancy in a new West End production of Oliver.
Sam told Manx Radio she is hoping for a quick reunion with her family after the show:
