More than 400 parcels distributed
The Salvation Army and its volunteers have been working hard, making sure presents and food get out to those in need in the run-up to Christmas.
The charity has been preparing for the festive period since August, running its annual toy appeal with the help of the Isle of Man Bank.
More than 400 toy parcels are being sent out in all, which Lieutenant Rachel Nieuwoudt, one of the commanders of the Isle of Man branch of the Salvation Army, says is similar to last year.
She says there's been plenty to do this week:
