Sailings back on schedule despite high winds

This evening's Ben my Chree sailing to Heysham will depart as scheduled at 7.45pm.

There had been concerns earlier that the service may be disrupted due to the high winds in the Irish Sea.

However, the Steam Packet says after looking at the latest weather forecasts, the vessel will now leave on time.

Passengers who were booked on this morning's cancelled sailing are free to transfer to the evening sailing by calling Reservations on 661 661.

Tomorrow morning's return sailing from Heysham at 2.15am is also scheduled to leave on time.
