Rushen MHK Laurence Skelly says he’s not trying to oust Health Minister David Anderson so he can take the job.
Last week, he announced he’d be moving a vote of no confidence in Mr Anderson during next week’s Tynwald sitting.
But soon afterwards Chief Minister Allan Bell said Mr Skelly had asked him for the post.
Mr Skelly denies asking for the job but says if any ministerial post was offered, he’d take it:
