A candidate in September's general election is calling for a new approach towards house building in the Isle of Man.
Laurence Skelly, who is campaigning for one of three seats in Rushen, says the future of the Ballakilley site in the south of the Island will be a key issue for local voters.
The land has been earmarked for new housing, but plans remain on the drawing board.
Last week the inquiry into the Southern Area Plan was delayed until October.
