Rushen goes to the polls today (Thursday).
Three candidates are bidding for the vacancy on the board of the parish commissioners.
They are joiner Thomas David Radcliffe, businessman Laurence David Skelly and housewife and part-time vet’s assistant Clare Louise Williams.
Those eligible to vote in the by-election should have received their polling cards last week.
The polling station, at Ballafesson Methodist Hall, is open from eight o’clock this morning to 8pm.
