There's been a major setback to plans for the £42 million runway extension at Isle of Man Airport.
A major debate was expected in Tynwald this afternoon (Wednesday).
But a request for approval of the scheme was withdrawn at the last moment by the Transport Minister.
David Anderson told the court there were problems in getting special rock from Norway needed for the promontory, with the barges needed to transport it delayed at another project in Great Yarmouth.
He expects it to delay the request for funding by a couple of months (audio file attached):
