Police in Warrington are organising a charity run in memory of Manx-educated Fiona Bone and her Greater Manchester police colleague Nicola Hughes.
Eighty officers from Cheshire will run 250 miles for the Run To Remember campaign set up after the two officers were murdered by Dale Cregan in a gun and grenade attack.
The event starts tomorrow, and those taking part will run two miles each day for 125 days.
