One-woman campaign to encourage litter-picking by all
Have you picked up a piece of rubbish today?
A woman from Oldham is encouraging us all to do just that.
Ruth Major is in the Isle of Man, following a whistle-stop tour of Ireland.
Over the last three years she's made over 14 week-long trips by public transport around the British Isles, picking up rubbish as she goes on what she terms "Ruth's Rubbish Rambles".
She posts her adventures on social media and also has an online blog.
Speaking on Mandate this morning, she had praise for the state of the Island's capital, but said we can all do our bit to help keep environment rubbish-free:
Sidecar competitor confident the class will return to the TT in 2027
