The Mersey's primary role is fishery protection
A military ship, which makes sure fishing boats and trawlers stick to their quotas, has docked in Douglas harbour.
The Royal Navy offshore patrol vessel, 'HMS Mersey', arrived this morning.
It's been under the command of Lieutenant Commander David Gillett since 2015.
HMS Mersey's primary role is fishery protection - patrolling the waters of the UK and up to 200 miles of the Atlantic ocean, ensuring fishing boats and trawlers stick to internationally agreed quotas.
