There's to be more industrial action in the postal service in the UK.
A programme of strike action over a two week period from Wednesday (25th) to midday on Wednesday 8th August has been announced by the Communication Workers Union, with the aim of causing maximum disruption to deliveries.
It is the third period of industrial action in as many weeks after pay talks with Royal Mail broke down.
Isle of Man Post employees are NOT involved in the industrial action and every effort will be made to minimise any disruption, but customers are warned to expect delays to mail sent to and from the Island.
Bank pouch services and ParcelForce services should be unaffected by the strike, and Isle of Man customers will see no disruption to local mail.
