
The Director of Highways says more work will be done on the new roundabout at Governor's Bridge in Onchan once the TT has finished, in order to clarify its purpose.
There has been some confusion since it came into use, with motorists uncertain whether or not to drive around the red circular area at the centre of the feature.
Bruce Hannay (pictured) says it's an over-run area for long vehicles to enable them to negotiate the roundabout, and he hopes the future work will make the situation clearer for road users:
