Closures on the Mountain and in the west
There are a few roadworks to be aware of across the Island this week.
Starting tomorrow, Monday 28 July, the Mountain Road will be closed daily until Friday from 9am to 5pm, between Ramsey Hairpin and the Creg-Ny-Baa Back Road.
That’s to allow for stone wall repairs and preparations ahead of the Manx Grand Prix.
Over in the west, Poortown Road in Peel will be closed all week between its junction with the Castletown to Ramsey Road and the Oak Road roundabout, from 9.30am to 3.30pm each day.
This is for road stud installation.
And also in the west, Patrick Road will be shut between Station Road and Glen Maye Road from 9.30am to 5pm all week and again, that's for road stud works.
