There's a frost covering in many spots Island-wide - and the Department of Infrastructure has sent gritters to main traffic routes.
Police have reminded those making journeys today that they might encounter the large vehicles in unexpected places.
They've also reiterated the usual common sense message: slow down, plan your journey and take care as roads may be slippy.
