People stepping into the road, 40mph limit not adhered to
Police are reminding people to make sure they are following the road safety rules and regulations during the lockdown.
The constabulary has received a number of reports from Bus Vannin of people stepping out into the road without looking – sometimes in front of buses - as they try to maintain social distancing when going past someone on the pavement.
You're urged to check if the road is clear before doing so.
Meanwhile, the Roads Policing Unit says the Island-wide 40mph limit still isn’t being adhered to by everyone, and a number of motorists have been stopped and dealt with on Thursday.
