Parking prohibited and temporary speed limit in place
A temporary speed limit will be in place in the west of the Island from 6am today (9 August) until 6pm on Saturday (10 August).
It will be in place along the A27 Peel to Glen Maye Road stretching from the existing 30mph speed limit signs between the Raggatt and the northern approach to Glen Maye.
Parking will also be prohibited on both sides of the road to keep it clear for the Royal Manx Agricultural Show.
Parking is prohibited on the following roads:
- On both sides of the A27 Peel to Glen Maye Road, Patrick between a point adjacent with the entrance to the Raggatt and a point adjacent with the Manx Utilities Authority Pump House on the south side of Patrick Village
- On the A30 Patrick Road between its junction with the A27 Peel to Glen Maye Road and the entrance to Ballamoar Farm
