
Budget constraints and TT course maintenance mean other roads are left without important work being completed.
Director of Highways Richard Pearson says he's very aware many roads aren't in the best condition.
However, he says annually the TT circuit needs between £600,000 and £700,000-worth of work, and that gets priority.
