Old Laxey Hill now to close from 15 October
The closure of a main route through Laxey has been delayed for two weeks.
Work on Old Laxey Hill had been due to start today, 2 October, but is now expected to start on 15 October.
The closure, which will be from New Road for its entire length down to the old village bridge, will be while the Department of Infrastructure carries out sewer works.
Signage will be used to indicate the intermitent closure of the carriageway to vehicles, and a diversion will be in place.
Those living in the area will still be able to access their properties.
The road will reopen on Friday, 26 October.
