A road accident last night has caused extensive damage to overhead lines on the Snaefell Mountain Railway, says the Department of Infrastructure.
A replacement bus service is running from both Derby Castle station in Douglas, and Laxey's MER station to the stop at The Bungalow.
The service from there to the top of Snaefell is running as normal.
The DoI says the Queen's Baton will go up there as scheduled.
