Organisers pay tribute to event stalwart
Festival of Motorcycling organisers have confirmed a second rider has died after crashing during this year’s meeting.
The Manx Motor Cycle Club says David Taylor of Sheffield died following an incident at Brandywell during Friday’s Senior Manx Grand Prix.
David had ridden in the Max Grand Prix for almost twenty years, and was an ambassador for the event.
Manx Motor Cycle Club chairman Harvey Garton said he was a well respected rider who was liked by all, and expressed the club’s condolences to Mr Taylor’s family and friends.
