Power tools worth around £7,000 have been stolen from a building site in Douglas.
Police say the quality workman's items, made by firms such as Dewalt, Bosch and Hilti, were taken from the Heritage Homes site at Quine's Corner, between 6pm yesterday (Wednesday) and 6am today.
They belonged to private contractors working at the site, and three rolls of grade four, 300mm-wide lead were also taken.
Sergeant Ged Power said: 'To lose a tool you're looking at hundreds of pounds and it affects livelihoods deeply.'
Heritage Homes is offering a reward for information leading to the recovery of the stolen property and the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
Anyone with information is asked to ring Lord Street Police Station, via 631212.
