Revised terms of reference on Children's Champion published

Important position says Chief Minister

The revised terms of reference for the role of Children's Champion is being published by government.

This was confirmed in Tynwald this morning (Tues 19)

Garff member Daphne Caine resigned from the post last month, after 18 months, due to the remit of the job changing, focusing on just looked after and vulnerable children only.

She claimed most of the young people who came to her for support fell outside the new criteria.
