Island at 20-year unemployment low
The Isle of Man has no 'return-to-work' schemes in place to help long-term unemployed people looking to re-enter the workplace.
The information was revealed by the treasury minister which says data from the Labour Market suggests the Island's unemployment rate is at a 20-year low.
We're told only 5.8-percent of the total register is made up of long-term unemployed residents.
Due to this, the department says it doesn't think it's necessary to introduce the schemes.
